Great sturdy connector but screw is missing

Bought 3 to replace the ends of 3 extensions that had been misplaced. from once to many times. It looks like a great high performance fork and works great. The downside is that when you opened the box, one of the screws that secured the connector to the cable was missing. I checked a few hardware stores and couldn't find a suitable replacement: either the screw was too big for the job but the head fitted well, or the screw fitted but the head was too small and would eventually pop out.
