VERY DO NOT BUY! fits kitchen napkins and kitchen towels

I'm terrible at uploading photos but if I did NOBODY would buy these overpriced towels, I'm writing the same review about leaf and lemon colors (to be considered separately are used for each color). As others have mentioned, they are very overpriced. But if you want to add some flair to your kitchen sink, they have all sorts of whimsical, fun colors. First, let's talk about the thickness. Some say it's too thin. For anyone who says this, I REALLY wouldn't want to eat off any of the hand washed plates in their house lol; for this reason. If you've ever bought or seen waffle clothes at a big blue box store, their "primary" brand (hint-hint). They're usually the right thickness for a washcloth, yes, maybe even tiny. BUT if the clothes are too thick, they won't fit well in crevices in dishes and in tight places like narrower glasses. an absolute pain and the dishes don't come out clean. Now the designs are a bit thicker than I mentioned, in fact they border on being too thick; but I think for most they would say it fits the bill. I think they are ok. in fact probably close to ideal thickness. They are DEFINITELY not too skinny. I put them in the wash as soon as I received them and left literally ALL the fluff/fiber! The color of the leaves was worse than that of a lemon. In fact, there was a thread with two small balls of fluff. I washed them along with a bundle of quality new Aunt Martha linen linen towels and assorted hand/tea towels that were also made to order. I looked very closely to determine the culprit(s) and it was just Now Designs kitchen towels. Washing machine, I had to delete it, I couldn't do everything so I had to run a rinse cycle. Even after shaking, I cleaned out the dryer vent before putting this load in the dryer, but the vent was FULL. actually FULL of blue and green down. And that's literally out of 6 rags! The only time I've seen anything this bad was on a crappy blanket I bought from a store that now gets returns from Revain ;) So 6 washcloths made as much mess as a fluffy queen size blanket Size. And after the rags were shaken, my floor was covered with fluff. Here's the worst. Many of the other kitchen towels now look older than the cheap dollar towels I've had for YEARS and hold up to everyday abuse. I hope they clean up with time and future washes. $11.59 is too much to pay for 3 rags even if they had NO problem. This equates to $3.86 per fabric. INSANE! For this you can buy a pack of 36 pieces in the store! All I could think about was cute colors after everything else just wasn't right. I was tired after days of searching the internet for fun colors that didn't have too much white in them. In the BEST of circumstances, I wouldn't pay more than $1.50 for a shawl. Knowing the issues (because I love color) I'd probably pay 50 to 75 cents for fabric. Tip for some: the rags you buy at the big blue box store actually fade no matter the color. Not recommended I'm sure, but I've been doing this for over 30 years, yes MAY have some discolouration, but not by much. Even the ones with black stripes didn't discolor too much. These Now Brand fabrics must be washed separately. Now I have to run after 12 tissues, what a waste of time, detergent, water! ATTENTION TO THE BUYER!
