Not for African (hair) yarn
This is a high quality yarn for general use. It stretches well, seems strong enough and doesn't tear. I think it will be a good choice for beading and other types of jewelry making. BUT. lol I was trying to use this to make African threads on my hair. It might have worked better if I didn't have to wet my hair with oils so much beforehand. I will be leaving the floss for a few weeks so my hair needed oils. The rope was slippery! I'll try it another time when I don't have to use as much oil as if I just leave the thread on for a night or two.
