Nice watch but lacks common sense

I really wanted to like this watch. I definitely liked it. Looks cool, should be durable and really comfortable to wear (more than my G-Shock). But there were some features (or lack thereof) that I just couldn't get past. First, the emphasis on the double chronograph. I think this comes in handy when you need to track the time of two different events at the same time. You can view both chronographs on the main time screen and time/day/date on the chronograph screen. So bonus points IF it's a feature you find useful. I personally haven't used it much. It's up to me However, the countdown timer hasn't received the same treatment. You can only run one timer at a time (two would be nice but I think the SWAT people who consulted them didn't find this feature relevant) but you can't set the current time, day or date on the timer- see screen . You also cannot see the countdown timer on the main time screen. There's a little icon that means a timer is running, but that's about it. ALSO you can press the button on the main time screen and change the day/date to the current year. I'm sorry. What person who owns such a "tactical" watch doesn't know what YEAR it is? Rather than adding a completely useless feature like this, this would be the perfect place to add a countdown timer quick view option. A huge missed opportunity in my opinion. Many complain that the display is too dark. Personally, I'm used to negative displays on my watch and they tend to look a bit dim, especially in dimly lit rooms, but I had no trouble seeing this display outdoors or in well-lit areas. If that bothers you, this watch now has positive displays. So if you're a "Special Forces Specialist" (or maybe you could use them for timing drills, they were only heavily advertised as being for Special Forces). and I was a sucker for that cool factor lol) who finds it useful to sync two things at once then this watch is for you. Comfortable to wear. I started giving it three stars but overall I give it four. I don't feel like this is intentionally misrepresented, but I do feel like it's a missed opportunity. I think it's a great first try but they could do better. Add some features to the countdown timer like they did with the chronograph and a 24 hour option (currently it can count down from 60 minutes) and an option to vibrate and/or flash the light when the timer/ Alarm goes off and this watch would be damn near perfect. In my opinion ;) Hope it was helpful!
