I have replaced the most commonly blown fuses in our house from the 1940's with these switches. The house has old pipe wiring with very limited bandwidth. Rather than overloading fuses, which could cause fires, we've historically used 15A fuses, which often blow if we overload them with too many high-drain appliances (like toasters, microwaves, and heaters). These switches only require a push of a button to reset, rather than constantly replacing blown fuses. I recommend them for safety and convenience.
