Bought to replace Wemo Mini

i I am very satisfied with the Kasa Smart Socket. I bought this to replace my Wemo Mini which I had for about 3 years. I've had issues with Wemo since having to manually reset the connector and reconnect it to my network, especially when my internet goes down and recovers. I've been using the Kasa connector for about a week now and haven't had any problems with it. I've lost internet several times and even had to factory reset the router modem. Once I re-entered the same SSID and password as before, I didn't have to set up Kasa again. It reconnected automatically. As you can see from the photos, the Kasa connector is shorter than the Wemo. My Wemo fork overlapped the wall plate, but the Kasa is about the same width as the wall plate. I like that the button is on the side. It was very easy to set up. There are no instructions in the box, but on the box (see picture). I just downloaded the app and followed the instructions. The app seemed to freeze when connecting the plug to my network so I had to close and reopen the app and then it quickly connected. I also like the user interface of the app. It's clean and I like the way the graphics look. The only thing I didn't like was the blue LED. I'm a person who needs total darkness to sleep so I had to use black tape to remove the bead. I would like smart plug manufacturers to add the ability to turn off LED lighting via the app. Overall I'm very happy with Kasa as it's half the price of my Wemo mini, reconnects after an internet outage and has a much nicer app interface.
