Nice compact little machine. I made a few videos to show unboxing, my husband using it, and a video of my son (8 years old) also using it. Of course, I'm only allowed to see one video per review, so I chose the video with my son. I think many would appreciate that the design is so simple that even an 8 year old kid can operate it. We already have one of the largest sealant manufacturers. it's about three times larger and a little scary. It works well but there is no click when the lid is closed so it sometimes takes more than one try to seal the pouch. I really like the smaller size of the Megawise. It's so light and compact that I think we could take it camping if we're good at fishing. Our relatives often accompany us with their glamping, which includes air conditioning and a freezer. We avoid hunting/fishing for sport or recreation; We only do this if the animal is to be eaten, and then use whatever parts we can. This way we can enjoy fishing and take home the fish that we don't eat for future dinner. The sealant was immediately ready for use along with some spare parts. We filled, weighed and sealed. Operation was easy. Place the open end of the bag in the machine, lower the lid until it stops and press the appropriate button. My husband and I typically process meat late at night and often get up after 1am to wrap and seal the meat. With Megawise, our kids can now participate, so my husband and I can get some extra sleep! Finally, I would like to add that my cat, Lello, is deeply concerned that I did not choose the video he recorded for my review.
