It's illegal to use them on public roads, but these guys who live in the Oregon mountains have saved my butt more times than I can count. (Deer, moose cattle and other hazards) Do not use them when you can see the headlights or taillights of distant cars as they will either blind oncoming cars or bother the man in front of you by blinding him with the rear view mirror even if he is you more than a mile ahead. THESE ARE AIRPLANE LANDING LIGHTS! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Tip - Don't use a thick cable to power them. Use 16 gauge wire (and a relay of course). They will last a lot longer.
