I was a bit skeptical, but we took the risk and ordered four packs. Although four may be too many, it is better to have too many than too few. Follow the instructions carefully! Be sure to use plenty of water when spraying on the window just before applying. This will reduce air bubbles and make them easier to remove. My advice is to cut at least 2 inches more on all sides. Cutting off the excess is much easier this way. If you don't have enough excess to trim, you run the risk of stretching the material instead of cutting it when you attack it with a razor. When mopping up the water, have paper towels handy to catch the excess water or you risk getting caught in the window hardware. I've tried my best but I'm not 100% sure if there's still some water in the plastic molding after a few weeks. While you don't need to purchase the application kit separately, I've found this helpful. The level of privacy with these things is amazing! We attach them to bathroom windows and garage windows. They look very beautiful, even up close. I highly recommend them as they are a very cheap alternative to frosted windows or curtains.
