I really like this company's silicone spatulas so I took a chance on using silicone coated pancake and omelette spatulas despite mixed reviews about the durability and integrity of the coating . The lathes are nice and flexible and work as described. However, the silicone coating barely covers the bottom edge of the crepe maker's metal handle. I can see the sharp metal edge breaking after just a few uses. The omelette spatula has a thicker coating on the handle. I expect I'll at least have to replace the pancake spatula with something more permanent sooner rather than later, but for now it's working.
