Failed after two months.
Freezer started to freeze again assuming this part is ok, replaced the defrost control board after checking the defrost heater. When that didn't fix the problem, I checked the bimetal defrost thermostat to see if the new part was defective. My guess is that if I spent a little more money up front I would save a lot of money in the long run.
