The capacity is NOT as advertised. How does something that should be simple become so complicated?
REAL capacity approx. 13 oz. because you cannot fill beyond the line printed inside. Why? Because the lid is huge and deep. If you put soda in it, the pressure will rise and the damper won't open! And good luck unscrewing the cap if that happens. To add to the injury, it doesn't keep cold drinks cold, which is why I bought it. And don't get me started on how difficult it is to clean the lid and all of its parts. . Obviously I've used it, so I can't return it. Maybe I'll try it with coffee this winter. Disappointed with this brand for the first time.
