I started playing at work with a very cheap wood paddle (included with the table) and this racket was a perfect launching point into more advanced play. This racket allowed me to start learning more advanced spin techniques, and feels very natural in my hand. Other reviews seem to indicate that the handle is too short, but in my experience, as I have fairly large hands, this hasn't been a problem whatsoever. From this internet stranger who doesn't know much about the game, this paddle has been a lot of fun, and has definitely upped my game considerably.
