These heat shrink butt splices are ideal for splicing 14-12 gauge cross cable. When installed correctly, they form a watertight seal that will last for years. Much better than piercing type connectors which are prone to failure in wet environments. The only tools needed are wire strippers, crimping tools, and a heat source to shrink the winding. I love it!
