Tinned Copper Core: Butt connectors use a heavy-duty copper core, strong crimp, higher conductivity. Package Includes: 100 Blue heat shrink butt connectors that can be used on wire AWG from 16 to 14. Solderless Crimping: Insert the wires to be connected, crimp both sides with crimping pliers, and then heat with a heat gun. 3:1 Shrink Ratio: Marine grade heat shrink tubing provides high tensile strength and enough hot melt adhesive inside the tubing to ensure waterproof performance, your wires will never slip out of the wire connectors. Wide Application: Wire connectors are durable, stable, waterproof, and corrosion resistant and are used in the automotive, marine, electrical, and electronic industries.

Terrible Waterproof Splicing Connectors

I bought these connectors for an industrial electrical project and they were a complete disaster. As my tests showed, they are not waterproof despite the claim. This resulted in short circuits and electrical problems. The only pro was that they were easy to use. Unfortunately, their lack of waterproofing far outweighed this positive. I would not recommend these connectors to anyone in the Industrial and Scientific field.

Perfect Splice Connectors for Outdoor Landscape Lighting

These heat shrink butt splices are ideal for splicing 14-12 gauge cross cable. When installed correctly, they form a watertight seal that will last for years. Much better than piercing type connectors which are prone to failure in wet environments. The only tools needed are wire strippers, crimping tools, and a heat source to shrink the winding. I love it!

Excellent quality and price. They arrived as described and very quickly. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
