So far so good. Lockable sliders and a +/- adjuster are very cheap and likely to break. The torch is good, and the one or two flame option is great if you have sausages of varying thicknesses. The only drawback is the rather small tank. With my thicker sausage I have to refill the burner after about 4-5 bowls. However, I prefer a smaller flashlight. That's a consideration I didn't think of before purchasing. This would be fine for making crème brûlée and the like and would be the perfect size for a kitchen drawer. I recommend.
