Very good and *single layer*
The best thing about this filter I think is that it's a single layer of stainless steel. Many other metal cone filters have a double layer where the outside is made of a harder metal and the inside is a fine mesh material. it works fine initially, but over time coffee residue builds up *between* the layers and clogs the overall functionality (nothing can be cleaned either. no dishwasher, no scrubbing, no soaking). This LHS filter, on the other hand, uses a continuous layer and rinses beautifully without leaving any residue.
