Review on Columbia Silver Protection Moisture Wicking Sports & Fitness by Joe Drew

Like a Patagonia shirt but much cheaper

I bought a Patagonia shirt in roughly the same color, material composition and UPF protection. Nice shirt, but I didn't like the fit that much. As you can imagine it was expensive and I wasn't sure I would keep a shirt I didn't like for that much money. I found this Columbia shirt as a possible replacement and loved it. Fits perfectly. The Patagonia shirt was weird. He was too broad in the shoulders but narrow in the biceps. I lift, but I don't have howitzers for biceps. I couldn't even roll my sleeves up far enough to fasten my sleeve strap; it just got too tight in the biceps. The Columbia shirt was loose enough that I could comfortably roll up and button my sleeves. Good. There are several design options that I'm not keen on, but these are minor things. I don't care about the collar or the cut corner on the front pockets. In addition, this shirt was made for my body. I'm 5'10" and about 185 pounds (hey, I'm gaining mass now) and I'm very happy with this purchase.
