This is a very lightweight light that we attached to our floor joists in the utility room of our basement. The screws that come with the kit to mount the brackets are cheap and will easily strip- so pre-drill your holes or use alternative screws (like we did). Once that was up, it was easy to snap into and with the built0in hanging lines you can install the rest with ease. We used a poorly mounted light bulb mount (fixed the wiring) and it works great for the space. We are converting it to my dog grooming room, and this light provides plenty of bright white lighting for the 12x12 area. I would recommend for a smaller space that you need well lit, or you would need a series of these for a larger space (you can connect up to 10 of them).
