This is a really good arcade joystick. Another good product that mostly goes unnoticed considering how Madcatz has saturated the market. However, old-school hori consumers will feel right at home with it. The Sanwa JLF sticks to the Sanwa face buttons, but you can also easily swap out parts for modification. The felt bottom is also a nice touch to prevent slipping for those playing on their knees. I would say this stick is very similar to the Madcatz SFxT PRO series. It says the joystick and buttons are actually a little farther away than most standard layouts, but even the most avid embroidery users will hardly notice. My only complaints about this stick: 1) price. Hori sticks tend to be much more expensive than their competitors for similar products, which is another reason why people might not like this one. And Hori products rarely go on sale. 2) This stick is very light (like all hori sticks) weighing just over 4 pounds. So if you're looking for something heavier, this might not be for you. And finally 3) the cable is not very long, just under 9.5 feet. However, some argue that Madcatz's 13-foot cords are too long. This isn't really a complaint, but something to think about if you're considering buying this stick. Otherwise, the stick performs very well and there is nothing to complain about in this regard. But if you're considering buying a new stick or your first, there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well, if not better.
