This product does (mostly) what it says on the tin. It keeps a good bit of brake dust off my clear coated discs. However, prolonged use of this product will result in a film that is almost impossible to remove. After a year of regular use, I tried detailing my rims and noticed a matte, sticky finish. After trying a few products and a few washes, I had to use a mild abrasive to really clean the rims. In particular, the Meguiar water stain remover, which contains plastic beads that gently remove this dirt. I'm not saying this product doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Rather, you should really understand the long-term effects of using this repellent before purchasing it.
