Came in a plain unsealed box with no instructions. It can be plugged directly into the pre-installed navigation of the BMW R1200RT. (After looking through the Q&A, I found out that the wiring harness for the supposedly wireless connection was for other bikes.) Poor packaging aside, this works on RT - if your phone is smaller than an old Samsung S6. My S9 was way too big, and I'm sure most iPhones that have been released in recent years have been too. Of course we now have several versions after the S9. S6 fits but you can't connect it; It was pressed firmly against the edge, so to fit the connector it had to be half an inch smaller than the S6. Ask what is the use of such an elegant device. I'm assuming the people writing about how awesome this is either have fancy phones or the GS navigation setting allows it to fit. All I can say is that unless you have a really nifty phone, that won't work on the RT 2016. Useless to me.
