Review on Viotek GNV32DBE 32-Inch 2560x1440P Curved Monitor with FreeSync, 165Hz Refresh Rate, and Wall Mount Compatibility by Jared Simone

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall this is a really good monitor 🤠

Okay, I've had the Viotek 32 inch curved monitor for about a month now and I can honestly say it's a really good monitor for the price. Colors are bright, whites are blind, and it has really deep blacks for a VA monitor. Actually I only have 3 small problems with it. Firstly, the ports are a little tricky to reach as they are on the back of the monitor, meaning you have to place it on the front to get to them, which isn't the case. This isn't the best idea for a curved monitor. Second, the monitor says it's G-sync compatible, but it's not certified as G-sync compatible by Nvidia. I had to contact Nvidia when I first plugged in my RTX3070 card, it wasn't listed as G-Sync enabled on Windows 10. As it turns out, to enable G-Sync compatibility, you need to enable FreeSync in the monitor menu, something in There are no instructions for this monitor. FreeSync is also buried in the menu, so you'll have to look for it. The last thing Viotek claims is that there are no dead pixels on the monitor, but if you find any at all they will replace the monitor for free, no questions asked. asked. I found a dead pixel and contacted them 3 weeks ago and they still haven't responded. So be aware that if you try to contact them through their website, they may not reply to you. I've searched a bit and other people have had the same issue and those who got an answer were told to contact the company they bought it from for a replacement, not Viotek (it was because you bought it directly from them). It seems strange to me that they offer a 3 year warranty to replace dead pixels, but they want the company you bought it from to replace the monitor. I have informed the company I bought it from that it comes with a dead pixel but I have not heard from them yet. Overall this is a really good monitor and thankfully the dead pixel is in the bottom left corner so that's right. It's noticeable on a curved monitor, but would probably bother most gamers on a flat monitor. I deducted one star because Viotek didn't answer.
