Review on Redecker Copper Cleaning Cloth: Set of 2, Durable and Non-Abrasive Scrubber, Machine Washable - Made in The Netherlands by Paula Jones

I had very high expectations for this fabric and couldn't wait to get it. I have a lot of copper pots that need regular polishing and cleaning. I wanted to try something new besides my usual copper polishing cream and the overall rating for this product was high. The instructions that came with the cloths (I have 2) say "Cleans very thoroughly and gently!" "Does not scratch" Wrong as this fabric has the finish of my beautiful Ruffino brand copper pot completely scratched. Yes, the rag removed the dirt and the pot started to shine, but now the surface is hopelessly scratched. This rag ruined a beautiful pot which I treasured - I foolishly believed the instructions.
