The laser is not very bright. This is for indoor use only. I understand it's not very expensive, but the laser should at least be visible. It's just not visible on the street. I would take a picture and show you, but. it's not bright enough. To be honest it would be much better to stick the laser pen on the existing layer. *Update 1: When I first used the tape measure it broke and didn't retract at all. So I just pulled it out. Again, $15-20 isn't a huge loss or a big deal, but it's also like a dollar store item. *Update 2: The seller has offered me a full refund if I delete this review. *Update 3: The seller claims they will refund my money without having to delete this review. That was almost a year ago so I don't know why I'm still associated with this company. But they keep emailing me. Buying this laser tripod was a nightmare for $13 lol. Update 4: Well I think they may mean well but they keep emailing me trying to find a solution to this after I asked them to stop. So I keep asking them to stop and they keep emailing me. I'm not sure why they keep apologizing, but they also keep emailing me. I recommend never buying anything from this company if possible. It turns into a minor disaster because of a $13 junk. I wish you could pay me $1000, I won't change my rating. Everything I said here is true and I support it.
