I was thinking plug and play, not even close. I had to solder a flat four pin connector into the wire. The length was acceptable for my 10ft platform but would have been too short for a boat trailer. Then, as if that wasn't annoying enough, the wire between the two taillights was less than four feet long, so too short to reach both sides of my 6-foot trailer. In addition, the light comes out "at the back". Left was right and right was left. Not that big of a deal, but it does mean you have to make a difference by doing the already-too-short, shorter GRRRRR. I like LEDs, but that's about it.
