Now that I have solved the problems with my PC, everything is great.

I just kept the original app for posterity. But this one just seemed to me to be a 2.1 USB hub. Now, a week later, after solving some driver issues on my end (which were unknown to me), I've solved the problems. I haven't used it much since then, but it seems to be fine and correctly recognizes both USB 2.1 and USB SuperSpeed Hub in USBTreeView. Everything that came with it seems to be of great quality and the price was lower than the competition. The only negative I can think of is that when I posted a one star review saying (wrongly) it was a USB 2.1 hub, I think I would have thought that at least someone from of the company would try to delete the entry.
