Hüma upped their game by improving their protein smoothie. The first thing that struck me was the texture. The old formula was a bit grainy. This new formula is very mild. I also like the berry flavor. Mango. I hope they come out with more flavors (chocolate?). In addition, the ratio of carbohydrates and proteins is ideal. Finally someone found the right relationship. Many recovery formulas are either too high in carbohydrates or low in protein. , while others are too high in protein and low in carbs. As an endurance athlete, the 21:15 blend gives me just the right amount of carbs without overdoing the protein. The cost per serving is slightly higher, $0.50. - $1 more expensive than other recovery blends, but I'm happy to pay a little more for the right carb-to-protein ratio and ease of use (pre-cooked vs. powdered). Also the size (5oz) doesn't fit in hand luggage but to be honest I always have to check in my luggage so I can just throw it in there. I just hope they find something that matches the colors in this pack (trucker cap, shirt, ultrastripe).
