Item was well packaged and arrived on time. I used a vent mount but was concerned that the plastic blades on the vent might break if accidentally hit. I also bought this to move my Garmin to the left side of the handlebars. I first used the supplied plastic washer to attach it to the dash. I installed the drive and haven't used it for about 48 hours. The second time I used this mount, it came loose. It didn't damage the material on my dashboard, but since I was taking so long to dry the adhesive on the windshield I figured this would be a problem, so I attached a suction cup to the windshield. I've been using it in this configuration for several weeks with no problems.
