Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhanced 2022 VICTAGEN Bike Lights: LED Flashlight Powerbank for Night Riding Road Mountain - Waterproof Front and Back Cycling Lights by Dave Seawell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fur. That's about what I expected.

What I expected; This headlamp barely outshines a true 1180 lumen flashlight, but given the advertised specs, it should outperform them considerably. I compared this fully charged headlight to the partially charged (3.57V) battery in my tactical flashlight. This thing isn't even close to 3000 lumens. Both my flashlight and this headlight have the same spread. Four stars just disappeared because of a fraudulent lumen rating. At this price point and checking the LED specs, that's to be expected. Color temperature: more intense blue. Okay, "to be honest" it actually has about the same color temperature as your run-of-the-mill HID headlight upgrade kit (around 6K), which is what I would expect from a cheap LED headlight. The bracket did not fit in the middle. Part of the steering wheel on my Raleigh Redux 2 so I had to set it off center and tilted which is not optimal. The bracket is easy to install, but come on, let the handlebars have a larger diameter. I'll try to use it as a power supply with a multimeter so I can measure the power and charge it via the multimeter to measure how much it's charging, but I expect it to have cheap Chinese 18650 fakes since the performance of this device is up to then. I don't expect the built-in batteries to reach the advertised 5200 mAh. However, this is a very cheap flashlight which I bought on loan as the local bike shop sells honest third party verified branded headlights. I want it and it's worth the purchase price. Why don't you just rate it honestly, Victagen? There is nothing to be ashamed of with a 1000 lumen LED headlight. This is way better than what I used in the incandescent days. Yes, and the rear light is complete crap. As with the headlight, this is good for in between. It's poorly made, and users will likely damage it by bending the contacts the first time they change the battery, blaming the manufacturer - right, because it's a cheapskate.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
