These curlers give me exactly what my hair needs: volume and definition at the ends without wild curls. I have fairly thin hair so it holds the curls well but when I try to blow dry it becomes a frizzy mess. With these curlers I get straight hair with good curls only at the ends. I've included before and after photos for clarity. But the clips are terrible. I find it helps to "dig" them into the hairs on the scalp so they stay on a little better. But at least they don't leave marks on my hair like the clips from other sets. Definitely recommend this set if you are looking for volume and nice big waves!
