These are the best LARGE (2") hair rollers I have found. Other reviews said they had issues with the clips but I have thick hair and had no issues. This straight my naturally curly curly hair looks gorgeous. I don't need all 8 so I used 5 from this set and put them in my travel size because I wore out the rest after 2 years. These are excellent hot curlers.

These curlers give me exactly what my hair needs: volume and definition at the ends without wild curls. I have fairly thin hair so it holds the curls well but when I try to blow dry it becomes a frizzy mess. With these curlers I get straight hair with good curls only at the ends. I've included before and after photos for clarity. But the clips are terrible. I find it helps to "dig" them into the hairs on the scalp so they stay on a little better. Love these reels and the clips work great. As many reviews say, these big curlers are great for straightening and adding volume to your hair, not for frizzing it. Many have complained about the clamps, but that may be because they don't place them properly. Don't wrap them around the base like you're trying to keep your hair in curlers. Clip them to your scalp around your head and they stay in place. I have had no problems with curlers falling out and would highly recommend these curlers!

I don't know why there are so many complaints about these clamps not holding. They hold up perfectly while I put on my makeup or do my morning routine. I'm just trying to keep the clamp handle as close to the scalp as possible. I imagine they would uncurl if you tried to leave them in the center of the curler.
