The roller size is perfect if you have long hair and want a "salon style" style and have patience to clip your rollers in (probably want to They don't walk much unless they are secured as they are heavy). Cons: NO on/off button - they need to be plugged in (this is a problem if you want to keep them plugged in way under the table behind the bookshelf for everyday use); who knows when they'll be "done" - there's no indicator - you're just guessing or keep touching them and burn your fingers. Make sure you remove all of the cardboard before putting it in for the first time (especially the one between the curlers - a little out of sight). However, quality curlers and a set of this size are hard to come by - Conair could improve the product for this model (e.g. instructions, clips and controls). I will be keeping them as despite my discomfort I need this size - I'm getting the rhythm on how to use them - there is a learning curve!
