I just received this amp so I didn't hear it for long. I followed ZeoPantera on YouTube and followed his advice to build a soundbar alternative. Audio equipment review is subjective as my ears are not like your ears and my house/gear is different from yours. practical conditions of use and describe my previous experiences. The SA50 amp is 50 watts per channel and the sound is amazing. voices are clear. Details are clear. Movies are awesome. The soundtrack to the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey is loud and clear. high frequencies are clear and low frequencies are solid. The amp is small, but the sound is impressive. I am sending a strong source signal to an amplifier capable of driving a 4 ohm load with reasonable power levels through decent speaker cable with good banana plugs to 2 Micca MB42 C speakers. It can be louder than I want to hear and the sound is clear. I use my laptop to set up audio and it works pretty well for setting it up. I set the volume slider to 50% and use the remote on the source to control the volume. In this way, with this amp, these speakers fill my 1,100 square foot home with clear vocals at the "30" setting, with the bar showing about a third of the way to full volume. In the rooms farthest from the speakers, with the bedroom doors open, the dialogue from the film is clearly audible and understandable, the music is pleasant unless you're trying to sleep. When the doors are closed, the noise is less annoying. A reduction from 30 to 20 is still clearly "sufficient" to be considered a normal hearing level. My main goal is to have a good sounding setup with a volume that matches the projected visual image of a home theater. Following Z's advice worked pretty well, so I give him credit for my choice. In my opinion, this amp and Micca speakers as they stand are on par with the average size/power. Subwoofer and not be overloaded with bass. There is only 1 RCA input so I need a bluetooth receiver and RCA splitter so I can send music from my devices to the speakers. I'll definitely buy it again because I'm happy with it, but maybe I should have gotten one with more input.
