Wow, this gate turned out to be better than I thought it would be and it arrived earlier than the estimated time. I needed this gate for my dog, so I didn't have to worry about it running off the porch, and I didn't have to worry about it not fitting between the metal railings at the top of the stairs. These gates are definitely very strong, they are made of slate metal. The installation took only 5 minutes. If it seems off center all you have to do is tighten the bolts on the screws and voila, the gate snaps into place. I like that the gate automatically closes behind you, or you can set it to stay open. If I ever need a gate again I will definitely buy from this company again.
