Can't confirm durability as I've switched to granular bedding and unfortunately the previous owner of my little digger had his claws removed, but the sacks *feel* very thick and strong. They are quite large and fit better in my litter box than the liners that were made FOR my litter box. They have great drawstrings, so now I can throw them in an already opened garbage bag instead of throwing them out, making a whole garbage bag. That's also less important, but also less eyesore. than those made for my chest; Not only were they HUGE and sticking out everywhere, they were white. Super ugly. They look clean and put together! The smell is AMAZING too. They smell awful when you first take them out of the bag, almost like ozone, but this almost odorless scent masks the wet wood/urine/faeces smell from the box. In any case, you will hardly notice any smell after use. Love it!
