Review on 🚤 Prospec Electronics JBL-PRV175: AM/FM/Bluetooth/USB Marine Stereo – 4x45 Watts of High-Quality Sound by Sam Anez

This is a great little radio. I removed the speedometer and put it back in place. I've had it on my own for a few hours and it doesn't get hot like others say. I am sure that standing in direct sunlight on a 100 degree day will get very hot. I use a parasol to cover my console to protect it from direct sunlight on the sandbar. I would not recommend this device. I liked the equalizer and volume controls. You can also adjust the volume when you turn on the device, so you won't be blown away the first time you turn it on. The reason I don't give 5 stars is that the Bluetooth range is not great. I can't leave my phone on the bow of the boat without it going offline. Does anyone else have this problem? Edited 7-11-16. I've recently had trouble putting the amp into protect mode, after investigating this found that the head unit was sending too much voltage through the RCA and was baking the inputs on the amp.
