This is a great little radio

This is a great little radio. I removed the speedometer and put it back in place. I've had it on my own for a few hours and it doesn't get hot like others say. I am sure that standing in direct sunlight on a 100 degree day will get very hot. I use a parasol to cover my console to protect it from direct sunlight on the sandbar. I would not recommend this device. I liked the equalizer and volume controls. You can also adjust the volume when you turn on the device, so you won't be blown away the first time you turn it on. The reason I don't give 5 stars is that the Bluetooth range is not great. I can't leave my phone on the bow of the boat without it going offline. Does anyone else have this problem? Edited 7-11-16. I've recently had trouble putting the amp into protect mode, after investigating this found that the head unit was sending too much voltage through the RCA and was baking the inputs on the amp. I tried to contact someone about the device as it was less than a year old but to no avail, I didn't get any help. that the head unit was sending too much voltage through the RCA and was cooking the inputs on the amp.
