I bought the belt 1 year ago. It finally took last night during a snow storm to tow a friend off the curb. He was only two feet from the curb (County 2nd Street). Because he drove into the snowdrift, there was a lot of snow under his car. (Toyota Rav 4) and the passenger wheels were in a small ditch. We dug out all the snow, hooked this strap on, and I slowly started to pull. (I'm in a GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4X4). The belt sagged and as soon as I started pulling, the belt broke in half. (dead point in the middle) Pure scrap.
