Over the past 20 years, I have accumulated tons of photos on our PC and phones. I’ve spend the past few weeks burning them onto CDs and needed something to store them in that would survive a fire or other emergency.This case is well made and will easily hold my photo CDs plus other data discs I’ve burned. Other than sitting this thing in a fire, there is really no way to test how fire resistant it is, but based upon the manufacturer’s description, it should protect the contents. and it is water resistant also. Compared to what a safe cost, this is a decent value.
