My 7 year old is too small for his age. I ordered a size 7 and 6 to see what fits better. We ended up keeping 6 because the jacket wasn't that baggy. It was still a little loose but I fixed that by moving 2 buttons about an inch. My son loved this tuxedo! He liked it so much that he put it on the day after the wedding. It held up really well, given all the break dancing he did at the reception he was all over the dance floor both literally and figuratively!
