I bought this thinking it would look great in a particular corner and I will say that I still agree with that.Assembly required three hands. There were no pilot holes in the wood, however the screws went in easily. So easily that I was concerned about the sturdiness, so I disassembled and out glue in the holes to give it a little more "oomph”.When installing it in the corner, I followed the directions to use the anchors, of course. I used a ratcheting screwdriver you screw the screws into the anchors. The screws that were provided were so cheap that they constantly stripped and I finally gave up and used screws I already had in the house.All in all, while cute, I had to make some serious modifications just to make it feel safe to hang. I had hoped for a little better quality.
