It's getting REALLY hot!

I'm using it to charge my DVR's external battery when it started smelling. I immediately turned it off and checked the temp and it was 167 degrees! The description says it has a fan, which is why I bought it. However, no fans or vents of any kind. Very dissatisfied with this item.
