fits the LEDs I bought. A low profile is what you want for LED lights, a high profile doesn't work at all. Tried two different lamps, they fit. Yorkim 1156 57-SMD 2835 Wedge Cool White LED bulbs, two Yorkim 1156 Cree 10-SMD 50W white LED bulbs fit into these low profile sockets. As I said, high-profile sockets are not suitable for LED lamps. The metal that goes into the socket is too short. The way organic halogen bulbs fit, the wall of the socket extends around the bulb enough that it pushes in and twists to lock into place. The LEDs are soldered at this point, leaving no extra space for attachment. The part here is for GM vehicles with high-end sockets. Then LED lights are a good choice. I have a 1989 what did I have to do to make it fit.
