Review on 1 TB WD My Book Mac USB 2.0 External Hard Drive for Desktop by Jesus Cordova

What can I say, I don't like being a hater, but this hard drive lasted me less than 6 months, and whatever you may say, it stopped working. I did a diagnosis - no luck. Judging by the online forums I've visited, many people have encountered the same problem but with no solution. I only used the hard drive itself once a month for a simple hard drive backup. So frustrated I vowed never to buy a WD again. I'm just glad I didn't lose any important data - some priceless family video clips and family movies that I worked many hours to create. I bought it for protection and was very disappointed. Since then I've spent a few more dollars on an Iomega hard drive and have been very happy with its performance. Not only does it come in a smaller, slimmer, more attractive metal body, but it's also incredibly quiet. Top quality and hopefully it offers the long lasting protection I'm looking for. Much luck.
