Sharper Image The SPIN 12 oscillating desktop fan looks like a traditional desktop fan with an upgraded modern look. All this looks very stylish and fits into any modern interior. Requires almost no assembly, just had to insert the legs, it took less than 30 seconds. The operation is very easy via the remote control or via the touch buttons on the device itself. Two touch buttons on the device, one for switching on/off and switching between 3 different levels and the other for oscillating. There are 4 buttons on the remote (Power, Swing, Level up and Level down). It even comes with two pre-installed AAA batteries. Before use, you need to remove a small piece of plastic inside the battery compartment. Very easy, even my 4 year old nephew knows how to operate the remote control without teaching him. I love that I can tilt the fan from 90 degrees to 180 degrees vertically and blow in almost any direction I want, which helps a lot with the airflow in my home. I can't say that this fan is very quiet, but it certainly isn't very loud. Provides excellent airflow even at the lowest settings. Comes with a nice loop as a handle for easy carrying around the house. If there is anything I can change, I would like them to add a timer function. Overall I am very satisfied with this desktop fan. Solid 4.5 stars.
