From time to time I listen to nature sounds like rain to help me sleep and I don't like my tablet speakers blasting or whispering to me so when I saw them I had to try them. Firstly, these buds are unique in that they are meant for sleeping. I sleep on my side so I can confirm that these buds are indeed soft and comfortable enough that the buds themselves do not interfere with sleep. I do notice that I'm holding the headphones in a prone position, but it doesn't hurt or feel uncomfortable at all. However, the headphone cable causes problems because I fidget a lot until I fall asleep. However, I can't really blame the buds for this just yet. At the time of this review, even the most compact wireless earbuds I've seen protrude too far out of the ear for the wearer to fall asleep. However, as Bluetooth headphones continue to get smaller, those headphones may need to make that change in the near future if they want to stay on the radar of potential buyers. I wish the cord was a bit longer, but there are workarounds for that if you really like these sleep headphones. There are Bluetooth transmitters and receivers that connect to devices using 3.5mm TRS ports and plugs. You can easily find a Bluetooth RECEIVER (not a transmitter) with a TRS connector to connect these headphones to. Simply pair the receiver with your phone, tablet or PC and you can wirelessly stream your music (to an extent) to these headphones. In my experience, there are two factors that are inconsistent with headphones of all brands, sizes and price ranges: 1. The fit of the headphones in the ears will suffer 2. Durability I've had that with earplugs cost one to three digit dollars and it depends on how long they last before they wear out, break or fail electronically. I haven't had these earbuds long enough to speak of their durability. I suspect these buds should last a long time as long as you don't wind up the cord, keep them clean and don't overstress them. But it fits. I'm not feeling well. Interestingly, these buds come with three flanged tips. These earplugs mimic three-flange earplugs and are designed to better seal your ear canals from outside noise. I have worn these in the past and loved them. They covered my ear canals well but weren't tight or uncomfortable. Honestly, I can't repeat this achievement with attachments. No matter what I do, I can't get a good seal between the tips of the ear pads and the ear canals. But then again, I can't blame these buds; Human ears are not a universal situation. Going to the larger bud tips caused pain so it was unacceptable. I might try the standard earbuds one day because I think those earbuds sound good, but without a good seal in my ears I can't say for sure.
