I am unable to say for certain at this time whether it will take the place of my apple keyboard. An excellent item all around. The thickness is a little out of the ordinary, but it's possible that I'll get used to it in time. The keystrokes have a good feel to them and are remarkably quiet, yet at the same time, it is extremely obvious when a key is being pressed. The keyboard is not inexpensive, but it is definitely money well spent. Some pros: Mostly level and not very elevated Quiet Clear keystrokes Compatible with up to three different devices Simple transitioning between different devices Lighting in the back with varying degrees of luminosity hefty with two different methods to connect Cons: The placement and utilization of windows and command symbols are not nearly satisfactory. But this is more of a quibble than anything else, in my opinion, it could be thinner, which would make it less comfortable than the Apple magic keyboard; nevertheless, this is just my opinion.
