Good Shoulder Bag Women's Best

I didn't really like this bag but I gave it 3 stars because of the quality. I kept seeing all these great reviews and hoping it would be a great holdall, but I didn't really like it. I have a thirty-one shoulder bag that I like, but I'm not a fan of using the crossbody style and shortening it to use as a handbag and I was looking for something that would work a little differently. This Vera Bradley looked a bit wider, but the lining was so heavily padded I couldn't fit half the stuff compared to my Thirty-one crossbody, and the Thirty-one is half the price. (See photo for comparison) I thought that since it's fabric it will "stretch" slightly, but can't be tucked in much. I am sensitive to fabrics and am not a fan of this fabric. It's a bit on the rough side and tough. It may soften over time but I'm not sure when I'll be using it. In summer I can't use it because my skin is very sensitive and when I rub my hands it scratches and I get rashes. I can try to use it in winter when wearing long sleeves. It's really good quality and I really liked the pattern of the lining. I also liked the way it sits on my shoulder to use as a normal handbag which is why I was so frustrated that I didn't like it. It fits over my shoulder better than my Thirty One to use as a regular wallet but due to all the issues I will still mainly use my Thirty One for travel or trips when I don't need a large bag. If the wallet was a little softer I would probably buy more. My Thirty One doesn't feel soft, but it's very soft and pliable, and I can fit a lot in my bag thanks to the thin, quality lining and soft fabric.
