NOTE! It is matte white, not glossy. I don't know if it's mentioned in the description, I usually buy based on photos and reviews. This is a high quality vinyl. It has a plastic backing so weeding is very easy. I mean, I cut 12" x 24" hexes, peeled out the center, and just peeled off the outside in one go with no problems! With no other vinyl has it never been easier. On the other hand, the plastic backing adheres to the cutting mat better than any other vinyl. I think if your rug doesn't hold up well that's fine, but it was initially difficult to peel off after cutting. Since I had to cut a lot, I was able to peel the mat off the vinyl without damaging the vinyl. This will probably be your best vinyl cutting experience, so give it a try. We'll have to wait and see how well it actually holds up in vehicle application.
