This is my first time using Oetiker clamps (I use them on 1/2" OD hoses in a sparkling water setup). I have always used regular hose clamps in the past (the kind with a screw that compresses the clamp around the hose.) Oetiker clamps (sometimes called PEX clamps) are better; they're very easy to use (the tool is basic, but it's the "right tool for the job").") and they compress neatly and evenly around the tubing, providing a good seal and fluid-tight connection. Their only downside is that unlike traditional threaded clamps they cannot be easily removed or loosened to adjust, and yet they cannot be used , I would rate these as "superior" to traditional clamps and would rate this range of clamps in different Highly recommend sizes and tools.
